Yesterday evening and I’m standing in the main street of Yarraville. Thunder is on the way, and the sky is thick and heavy. The wind is picking up, electric and warm. The sun, setting out past the highway, bleeds light over the buildings. It’s a good night to be alive.

I picked up the first two seasons of Deadwood on DVD from JB Hi Fi. If you haven’t already seen them, go buy them. Now. Hurry. I’m happy to wait.
