assorted oddities – 2

My first exposure to Bowie was most likely Labyrinth (all bewigged, tightly-panted & shiny ball-ed), but I hear his music everywhere – his work spans so many decades and genres that you’re as likely to find him featured on the classic rock-era background music in sprawling shopping centres as the self-consciously alternative shops that wouldn’t want anything to do with the mall.
